The Tragically Hip
Liz and Tony were gracious enough to get us tickets to the Big Music Fest. The big band was The Tragically Hip. Thanks Liz and Tony! The concert was sold out with about 15000 people. Surprisingly everything ran very smoothly with bands starting on time. The concert was over by 11pm probably due to some noise restriction bylaws for the park. The weather was supposed to be rainy but thankfully it held off.

Kitchen Backsplash
Pat always wanted a tile back splash for our kitchen and a couple of weeks ago we finally had one installed. The microwave over the stove was on the fritz and the fan made a hell of a racket and never worked very well. So we replaced it with a range hood. We initially were considering using glass tiles for the back splash but decided on stone. The thinking was that the glass tile may go out of style. Caledon Tile was who we had install the tile and they did a fantastic job. Highly recommended.
