A Great Big Thank you!
Well you did it again, your generosity exceeded my expectations and together we raised $1300.00 in support for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. I can not thank you all enough as I know it will all go towards making a difference for women and men everywhere across Canada.
It was such a lovely day, which as I sit here remembering all my past runs, seems to be the usual trend. Someone is definitely smiling down on the organizers every year. I very much enjoyed running in the small venue (less than 900 people) in Collingwood as it had that small town togetherness about it. I could even get my nails painted bright pink by some young girl volunteers for free....how cute is that. The race was a personal best for me this year and I think I had a smile on my face the whole way with all the lovely scenery and all the support along the route.
I have attached a picture to show you I was actually there running for the cause and doing my part for the fund raising effort.
Thanks again and give yourselves all a great big hug for the awesome total we all raised together!
