Labour Day Weekend (garage) Blow-out!!!
So what did you do this Labour Day weekend?
I decided (because Pat is too smart and would have hired someone) that the long weekend was a great time to demolish the garage. We are getting a new one built (sometime). So we had a bin delivered to our front lawn on Friday. Saturday we spent removing all the crap from the garage and transferring it to the basement. Sunday was all about removing shingles and roof boards. And Monday was bring it all down day.
Our neighbour Kelly was kind enough (foolish enough?) to lend a much appreciated helping hand.
We ran out of space in the bin so we just piled all the crap in the middle of where the garage used to be. On Tuesday the bin was emptied and I dragged the remaining pieces into the bin. Tomorrow (Wednesday) everything should be gone.
It's amazing how much space there is without a garage in the way.
Oh... and Pat also found time to do the Kelso duathlon on Sunday morning.
