Odds & Ends

Since I have not updated the site in a loooong time (sorry), I thought I'd try to get back up to date with a quick update. Here goes...

Aug8/04: Continued to work on the deck addition. With lots of help from Pat we assembled the beams and joists. Cedar planking is next.



Had a very small celebration of Pat's **th birthday.Went for dinner with Steve and Sue at a new restaurant in Georgetown, then home for some cake and good wine.



Went up to Ottawa for Pete and Sue's Calie (sp?). As usual a very entertaining time. This year a bag piper started the activities.




Sep10/04: Went to Belleville for a surprise birthday party. Joyce's **th.




Also dropped in on my sister Liz to see the ongoing addition to their house on Oak Lake in Stirling. Happened to catch a beautiful sunset while we were there. Maybe Liz will send out some pictures of their addition soon.

This weekend was also Pat's slo-pitch tournament: which they won!




Oct11/04: Spent the day hiking around the town doing some geocaching. The first one was pretty tough and we had to use the clues. But the second was a nice walk in woods and we found the cache without decyphering the clues.
